The Social Security Administration charges an administrative fee to issue “retiree identification cards. Failure to have your id card in good condition may lead to being refused service or having your card cancelled. When the university issues your "pch id card", it will become valid for 12 months and will expire at the end of the calendar year in which it was issued. If you lose or never receive your "pch id card", you will need to reapply for a new card. This will allow them to account for the different size of photographs and expiry date needs of their patients. The fort is open to the public from 9am to 4pm Monday through Friday, and from 9am to 3pm Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free.
