Once the application is complete, the unemployed woman will receive an e-mail notification and be given the opportunity to receive a debit card. The application process can take anywhere from two to four weeks. The cardholder's name and photograph are usually embossed on the front of the card, in the same place as the job title and position. Requirements for acceptance vary, but generally include proof of residency, a driver’s license, and a foreign passport. The card issuer will then contact the individual through mail to provide the necessary paperwork and verification. The Enhanced Id card must then be returned within six months of issuance. Enhanced Id cards provide residents of Washington with a new level of security and convenience. The card has an enlarged General Category and has less authorities and privileges than a passport for advanced travel.
