After receiving your card, you will be able to enter your student id card information into your student portal. When member id cards are scanned, the system verifies that the accompanying data (name, location, photograph, color coding) is legitimate and is not associated with any known or suspected fraudulent activity. Once you are eligible, you should also fill out a few forms, including a Driver License Application and a State Identification Card Application. Once you have applied and received your id card, it is time to use it. Second, make sure you are comfortable with the idea of having your private data stored in a virtual card and that you are able to use it if you ever lose your physical id card.
